Daccred

Daccred is our blockchain credentials and trust company. It trades as Daccred and is registered as Immutable Labs, a subdivision of Tecmie; contracts and finances run through Tecmie entities. It came out of our research and went public with a launch post on the Harmony forum on 4 December 2021, under the name DApp Accred. We built it for institutions, communities, DAOs and event organisers that needed to issue credentials someone else could verify. Today the team works on immutable identity, verifiable credentials, privacy-preserving systems such as zero-knowledge proofs and selective disclosure, and trust frameworks. December 2021: launch on Harmony

We launched as DApp Accred on the Harmony forum, asking for $50,000 to build a tool for designing, issuing and managing credentials that could be verified on-chain as NFTs. The alpha ran on the Ethereum Kovan testnet. The three use cases we led with were DAO membership, course certificates, and event or hackathon participation.

January to March 2022: the first codebase

We opened the contracts repo in January 2022 and have pushed to it on and off ever since: about 266 commits, still moving in 2026. The claim-web app followed in February and a Webflow landing site in March. The preview app from that period is still up at daccred-io.vercel.app, embedded above.

February 2022: telling the story

On 7 February 2022 I talked the idea through on the Startup Couches podcast with Lotanna Nwose: NFTs as credentials for educational organisations, communities, businesses and creators.

September to October 2022: side projects split out

We carved two projects out of the monorepo. Wyre came out in September 2022, and the polls contract in October, which became the Blockchain Polls Market and the BBN Poll work.

July 2024: Attest Protocol

We opened the attest.so repo: “A Unified Trust Framework for Blockchain-Based Attestation Infrastructure”, MIT licensed. The shorthand we use for it is SSL for blockchains: a no-code schema builder, attestation tooling, a sandbox and an explorer, so other protocols can issue and check attestations without standing up their own registry.

November 2024: Solana Radar Public Goods Award

Attest Protocol won the Public Goods Award at the Solana Radar hackathon, announced on 12 November 2024, with a $10,000 USDC prize. Solana recognised it for building critical public infrastructure for the ecosystem.

Stellar Community Fund

Attest Protocol is also an SCF award recipient, selected for advancing attestation infrastructure on the Stellar network. The submission is public on the Stellar Community Fund.

2025: Solana and Soroban

We added a Solana attestation service, a Soroban graph, Soroban attestation resolvers and a set of Soroban examples. The details are on the Attest portfolio page; Passporte is the identity project in the same line of work.
